Guest Reviews & Testimonials
“Danielle, we are just at a loss for words in how special you and your staff made our weekend, our wedding. For the last two days all we can talk about were the small details and planning and thoughtfulness that went into a magical weekend for us, our family, and our friends. We truly hope you know that this was far more than an event, you have touched our lives as dear caring people. We miss all of you and want to schedule a long weekend over Christmas to stay and share. Talk soon, and please please thank everyone for us” ~ R&D
“Wedding at the Mast Farm Inn” • “My husband and I had the pleasure of getting married at the Mast Farm Inn. We could not have picked a better venue. Danielle and all of the MFI staff members pay attention to even the most minute details during your stay at the inn, and we found the same to be true for details on our wedding day. The MFI is breathtaking, especially in the fall, and the food you will have there will knock your socks off. Our wedding guests are still raving about how delicious the food at our wedding was. I could not have been more impressed with the chef and his team.” Lindsay K
“Unbelievable gem of relaxation” • “We spent a long weekend at The Mast Farm Inn for my sister’s wedding. We traveled from Maryland with two young boys and the facility exceeded our expectations in every way. Our family slept in the Granary and it was so perfect, we enjoyed the rockers on the back porch while our boys we sleeping at night. The property has so much historical charm yet it has been decorated and updated to include every modern amenity so you aren’t really roughing it as it may appear in the pictures. The sheets were fantastic and the food was outstanding. We just loved it; from the staff,to the baby goats, to the friendly cat, our family did not want to leave and we plan to hold family reunions here in the future.” ~ Cass
“A Hidden Treasure in the Hills of North Carolina” • “We stayed at the Mast Farm Inn in North Carolina as a result of my son and his fiancé picking the place to hold their destination wedding. The thought of driving to North Carolina from Maryland to stay at a lodge and cottages did not initially excite me, but it did not matter as attending my son’s wedding was the real draw. So my expectations were initially not very high, but once we got to the Mast Farm Inn we were totally blown away by the setting, the cottages in the woods we stayed in, the food, the very attentive employees and the entire atmosphere to enjoy the company of all the wedding attendees. The mix of cottages from small rustic unique units to the large wood houses hidden in the trees and their large porches and wood finished interiors were absolutely beautiful. And the food was outstanding. The breakfast was to die for, and the dinner for the wedding and the rehearsal dinner was fantastic. And in particular the homemade ice cream and pie kept drawing me back for extra helpings. I would never have thought about driving to North Carolina for a vacation but after staying here, it is on our list to look at going back. In addition, I would be remiss if I did not point out the organizational skills of the team at Mast Farm Inn in organizing the outdoor wedding, reception, dinner and dancing. It was pure genius. They have an eye for detail, and it really showed in the weekend plans. What a wonderful weekend. If you are looking for a great getaway this is the place.” ~ Harvsupra
