Your Wedding • OfficiantThe Mast Farm Inn can recommend several Officiants and Churches in our area, and we can reserve their services for you if you do not yet have one in mind. And while we are here, you can find information about obtaining your marriage license by clicking here.

In this case as for all other weddings at The Inn, we can attend to these matters for you, or you may want to speak directly to your officiant, church or clergy. Although the words, “I do” have been said many times in many places, when you are looking into the eyes of your beloved, it’s as if it is the first time those words have ever been expressed. The Officiants with whom we work are happy to help make your ceremony the ceremony of your dreams, reflecting you both as individuals and as a couple. Whether you prefer a traditional ceremony and vows or something more contemporary, religious or non-religious ceremony, they respect your wishes and personalize the ceremony to suit you. Your wedding ceremony can take place at the Inn, and most do, or at a church or location in the area of your choosing. • Click on the names of the officiants, churches & clergy below to see more information about each.

Church of the Holy Cross
Surely there are few experiences in life to compare with the joy and significance of Christian Marriage. The commitment of one to another in marriage is both unique and sacred, and deserves the utmost thought, care, and planning. The people of Holy Cross are Christians. We are a Parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina. We are part of the ancient faith tradition of the Church of England, and that ongoing living tradition of the world-wide Anglican Communion of Churches, the third largest body of Christians in the world.  Our community life revolves around the Sunday morning worship of God.  Our liturgy is traditional and yet, lively. It involves participation. | 828.963.4609 | Location

Saint John the Baptist Episcopal Church, a summer mission of Holy Cross Parish and  lovely, historic church, was established in 1862 by Brother William West Skiles, Episcopal deacon and member of the monastic community founded in Valle Crucis in the mid nineteenth century. | 828.963.4609 | Location

Holy Communion Lutheran Church
The construction date of the first Lutheran church in Valle Crucis is unknown, as some speculate the first Lutheran settlers arrived in the 1700s, although there are no written records to affirm this. The first church, a log cabin, was named Friedens Kirche, German for Tranquility Church. In 1939 the original church was replaced with a new stone building, changing names to Friendship Church and later to the present day Holy Communion Church. | 828.963.8899, 828.963.4673 | Location
